Hey Reader Last week, I watched a video that had me 𤯠(mind blown in case the emoji didn't do it for you). I'm going to preface this by saying, I've been a consumer of personal finance content since 2018. I've been a money coach since 2022. While I know that having more money does not automatically make people feel better about money, I've never seen a clearer example than in this video from Ramit Sethi's podcast. It's long so if you don't want to watch the whole thing, I encourage you to start at the most impactful part for me (39:42) and I encourage you to watch for 8 minutes. Because of the amount of money they have, it may feel unrelatable to you at first. But understand that if you told yourself that the reason you're stressed about money is ONLY (or mainly) because you don't make enough, you are in her shoes emotionally. Another thing I've learned coaching people on their money is that more often than not, people feel worse about their money than the situation merits. It's always shocking to them how much disposable income they have. Everyone always feels their money is so tight! That's because, as the video showed, there is not a direct correlation between the dollars in your bank account and how you feel about money. If that's the case, how does one ever feel good about money? The first step is to hit pause on the anxiety and fear and look at your money objectively. That's why I created the $9 Financial Fitness Check with the goal of helping you see the REAL of your money quickly, efficiently, and accurately. Inside, you'll find a checklist you can use to see how much you ACTUALLY know about your money. There are video trainings for each part of the checklist so that you can assess your money in less than 60 minutes! And if you really want to get some work done, grab your fillable workbook to match the checklist. The workbook will help you take action on what you find in the checklist. So the checklist that's included is the what while the workbook is the how! Does that make sense?

âIâm tired of going backwards.â A client said that to me recently, and it stuck with me because I know how many people feel the same way but donât always say it out loud. Youâre paying bills, making decent money, and still feel like every step forward gets erased by the next expense. Itâs exhausting. If that sounds familiar to you Reader, I want you to know this isnât a personal failure. Itâs usually a sign that you donât have the right system in place yet. Without a clear plan, itâs easy to...
On a recent call, a client shared something I hear all the time. She wanted to use every extra dollar to pay off debt. But at the same time, she really wanted savings, too. That push and pull is such a common money struggle. Do I knock out the debt faster, or do I build a cushion so I can breathe? Both goals make sense. And when thereâs no clear plan, it can feel like youâre doing the âwrongâ thing no matter what you choose. This is where having a strategy matters. Money decisions stop...
Money stress doesnât always show up as panic.Sometimes it looks like quiet worry.Or feeling like you should have this figured out by now. If that sounds familiar, I want you to hear this: Youâre not the only one whoâs had to learn money the hard way. BUT...you don't have to keep doing it the hard way. Thatâs why I want to share a podcast episode I recorded with career coach Nicole Gwanzura. Not interested in receiving Friday Freebie gifts, but still want to get other emails from me? No need...
